Song of Songs Chapter 1:1-2 (TPT)

1 The most amazing song of all, by King Solomon.

The Shulamite:

2 Let him smother me with the kisses—his Spirit-kiss divine.
So kind are your caresses; I drink them in like the sweetest wine!

From the outset, we read straight away that this is the Song of Songs!

The Passion Translation (TPT) says: "The most amazing song of all!"
Just like we have read about the Holy of Holies, Jesus being the Lord

of Lords and the King of Kings, this song of Solomon—and he wrote
over 5,000 of them—is the Song of all of His Songs. Therefore, as

God’s children, we recognize its importance and therefore need to take
note.

In John 14:15 (TPT), it says: “Loving me empowers you to obey my

commands.”
In verse 21 of the same chapter, it reiterates this: “Those who truly love

me are those who obey my commands. Whoever passionately loves me
will be passionately loved by my Father, and I will passionately love

you in return and will manifest my life within you.”
