“Well, let’s just say I didn’t pass the test before, so I had to do it
again. But I think I succeeded this time,” I said.
“That’s good, Shauna,” Martin smiled.
“But…” I muttered, “what’s with your hands today? Are you guys
dating or something?”
They looked at each other and then at me — and quickly stopped
holding hands.
“Um, yeah,” Martin said. “We started dating on Monday, and it
was our first go at this whole dating thing.”
“It actually turned out well, too.” Dietra gave Martin a
heartwarming smile.
