hen we came back home, I actually didn’t want to come
back. The place was totally fun! I wasn’t expecting the
Wonderland thing to be so interesting and cool. I had to
tell Marla about this. Now, I can finally say I had fun over break, even
though school has already started.
“Marlaaa,” I called out, flopping sideways across my bed with my
phone resting on my cheek.
“Hey,” she answered, her voice casual but curious.
“Guess where I just came from? The Winter Wonderland
Festival!”
“No way! Isn’t that like… your third one this season?” she replied,
probably raising her brow.
I smirked. “Yeah, but this one hit different. They had a bunch of
mini competitions—fifteen, I think? I only won two, but still!”
“Wait, what did you win?” she asked, probably already jealous.
I grabbed the plushie beside me. “A giant fluffy teddy bear, and
this adorable pink Lululemon bottle.”
There was a sharp gasp on the phone. “A Lululemon bottle and a
teddy bear? Elle, I swear—you’re living my dream. I’m literally jealous
right now.”
