be smiling deeply and her breathing was as deep as if she was
awake and excited. He was very concerned. Of course he was,
he had never seen a satisfied woman up close before and
never did again. Marie was satisfied alright!!
It took a moment for Marie to get her bearings and realize
where she was and what had happened. Since she was a direct
offspring of Gnurdleigh and a woman, her DNA was built to
receive signals from his XTC over vast distances. If, however,
she literally ‘came’ into physical contact with it, a short circuit
would take place in her brain. There was no way she could
know this. All her brilliant scientific mind knew was, ‘If I put it
to my lips (or, come to find out any other mucous membrane) I
have bone-rattling orgasm!’. That was all she cared to know.
She sat up, smiled, then replied, “Never better.” And
secretively placed the artifact in her pocket, never to mention it
to anyone for the rest of her life.
She would quit the dig, quit archeology altogether, buy a first-
edition of Darwin’s “The Origin of Species”, hollow out the
pages and place the artifact in the book for safe-keeping. She
named it ‘Howard’ and pretended it to be her husband. They
would go for walks at twilight, share a nightcap watching TV
and then she would take him to bed. On her birthday,
Christmas, or any paid holiday they would bathe together for
hours, twice nearly ending in drowning. Marie was a strangely
romantic woman who liked Dutch beer. She had once made a
trip to Amsterdam and fallen in love with Heineken. She would
