“Ahh… looking for those reports from about two months ago.
The ones that needed the data cross referenced and analyzed.
Do you know where they are?” Tommy lied.

“I don’t do such things anymore and you know that. I gave
everything of that type to the manager of the office of Data
Entry. Take it up with him. Anything else?” He said with an air
of snobbish disdain.

“No. That was all.”

“Then goodbye.” Richard dismissed Tommy with a wave of his
hand. As Tommy left the office, one might suspect this was the

end of the ‘Time of Oedipus on Steroids”, but it actually lasted
one more day. Apparently he and Richard entertained similar
oedipal fantasies. Of course they did.

It wasn’t until Tommy got home that evening that he realized
he had placed the object from Richard’s office in his pocket. He
had completely forgotten the incident or blocked it out of his

mind. It was too difficult to say which. He pulled it out and
gawked at it, mouth open, pulse racing. It was oval, white and
blue, and about the size of a locket. As he gazed upon it, he
realized that the colors were moving. This shocked him and
scared him half to death. This was abnormal! Is it dangerous?
He gazed at it for about an hour, realizing that it was like
nothing he had ever seen. He could not wait to put it back. It
must be fairly important, whatever it is.
