Employees are expected to report any security violations or potential problems to Facilities
Maintenance or the People Operations Department. Illegal acts committed by employees may be
reported to law enforcement authorities as determined to be appropriate in the discretion of
Mission. Violations of this policy may result in corrective action, up to and including termination
of employment.
PARKING
Parking is available with or without charge to employees at each work location. Employee use of
the parking lot is done at his/her own risk. Mission is not responsible for loss, vandalism, or
damage to an employee’s parked vehicle. Employees should keep their vehicle locked, valuables
out of sight and maintain adequate insurance to protect themselves in the event of loss or damage
to their vehicles.
Employees are expected to follow all parking rules. Parking spaces are designated for certain
employees, customers and/or visitors. Disabled parking spaces are available for individuals with
disabilities who possess proper parking decals and/or permits. Employees are forbidden from
parking on striped areas on either side of the spaces reserved for disabled individuals, even if the
employee’s vehicle is authorized to park in the reserved space. Violators of the policy may be
subject to corrective action, up to and including termination of employment. Mission reserves the
right to search any vehicles parked in any Mission parking lot.
SMOKING
Mission complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding
smoking in the workplace and strives to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all
employees and visitors. Mission defines smoking to include the use of cigarettes, cigars, smokeless
tobacco, and pipes of any kind, as well as the use of electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes including
vaping). Mission does not allow breaks for smoking. Employees are permitted to smoke during
their lunch hours only in the designated areas.
WEAPONS POLICY
Mission strives to ensure a safe environment for all employees, customers, and visitors and to
protect its property and equipment from unnecessary damage. While inside Mission buildings, all

knives, explosives, or weapons of a similar nature or while acting in the course and scope of their
employment with Mission, regardless of whether or not the employee is licensed to possess any
such items. Violations of this policy will result in corrective action, up to and including termination
of employment.
Employees who are legally authorized and possess permits for weapons may store secured
weapons in their locked vehicles parked on Mission property to the extent permitted by state law.
