The Director of Curriculum and Data

                  1. Working with our feeder schools, math teachers, and campus administration, we are
continuing our work on closing math achievement gaps. Our work will continue with site
visits to our feeder school math classes and follow-ups regarding best practices and vertical
                      curricular alignment.

                  2. Working with Dr. Bournes and Loyola University, we are establishing a partnership to
increase the instructional capacity of our math teachers to provide more significant equity of
                      instruction and best practices.

                  3. Working with the Technology Department, Rich South administration, and Ms. Talea
Hughes, a soft launch of the student 1:1 take home device is underway. An evaluation of the
soft pilot will drive the modifications for the entire Rich South Freshmen class by the end of
                      the month.

                  4. The Instructional Framework Committee will continue to meet to develop our district
instructional plan to support the instructional needs of our students in alignment with
                      Marzano’s High Reliability Schools.

                  5. Working with the Technology Department and Coaches, professional development
continues for all staff relating to teaching in a digital environment and increasing rigor
                      through student ownership of learning.

                  6. Working with Dr. Bournes and the Association, the Service Learning and Student Portfolio
committees continue to work and we finalize the expectations based on the new graduation
                      requirements for our incoming freshmen.

                  7. Working with Dr. Bournes and Hansra Consulting, we submitted our International
Baccalaureate (IB) application and are expecting to receive a confirmation to enter the
Candidacy phase. IB courses are scheduled to run the next school year.
