UPDATE

Rich Township High School District
227 completed several construction
projects during the summer of 2020.
This is the first phase of the capital
project plan and additional projects will
occur during the next two summers.
This summer the projects included:
• The creation of a culinary arts lab with
a small banquet space, commercial
kitchen, and classroom (FAC campus)
• Roof repairs and roof to unit
replacement (both campuses)
• Rebranding of schools (other campus)
• New signage (both campuses)
Each phase will include the repairs that
were highlighted in the facilities report.

This year, the total expended was $10.7
million. The facility improvements were $7.1
million, and other improvements were $2.3
million. The culinary arts lab is $1.3 million.
