Hybrid Learning Update
The district plans to transition from remote instruction to hybrid instruction beginning November 16, 2020.
In preparation for the transition, the office of Educational Services has been collaborating with the Rich
Township High School Educators Association (RTHSEA). All staff will report to work October 13, 2020.
Students will start November 16, 2020.
Approximately 80% (1817) of our families responded to the rsvp. As of September 30, 2020, we are
preparing to host 851-1200 students for hybrid, although 452 families have not responded.
E-learning
This month there will be a public hearing to discuss the district’s three-year E-Learning Plan, as required by
the Illinois State Board of Education. The complete plan will be uploaded to board docs.
SAT Boot Camps
As our seniors are getting ready to take the SAT in October, the district has partnered with Academic
Approach to offer two virtual SAT prep sessions for all seniors on Saturday October 3, 2020 and Saturday

October 10, 2020 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The October 3 session will prep students for the SAT Verbal,

and the October 10 boot camp will prepare students for the SAT Math.
The parent of # 01-2019 agreed to the extension of the voluntary placement and signed the agreement for
him to remain at RISE. His expulsion will be held in abeyance for the remainder of the year.
