Development of Machine Placement
Floor Layout using AR Technology

Abstract Machines had to be placed according to a floor plan in the early days of industrial
technology. The main goal of the project is to create a mobile application for the virtualization
of various machines to grasp the available space. The method of creating this project is the use
of a web augmented reality application creating tool, ViewAR SDK and a 3D creation software,
Blender. The simulation yielded the estimate of extra space as well as the validation of a proper
layout. In conclusion, a machine may be positioned freely as long as it does not interfere with
the purpose of the specific layout and the variance is seen in the ideal space which then allow
for a more efficient use of space than the former layout.
