VISITATIONS

The NYAA hosted many dignitaries, groups and visitors during the year 2020. They are:

A delegation from the Sultanate of Oman
An official delegation from the Sultanate of Oman
visited Singapore. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs
arranged for the delegation to call on NYAA Executive
Director, Mr James Soh, on 8 January 2020. The
Omani delegation was very impressed with the
NYAA’s leadership Development Programme.

Visit Singapore by The Winner of the 2018
World Chocolate Masters
Mr Elias Laderach, the winner of the 2018 World
Chocolate Masters, visited Singapore in January
2020. H.E. Fabrice Filliez, Ambassador of Switzerland,
hosted a private dinner in honour of Mr Elias Laderach
at his official residence. At the dinner event were Mr
Andrew Toh, Singapore’s Ambassador to Switzerland
and his wife, and Mr James Soh, NYAA Executive
Director.

Visit by Lead Trainer from Deloitte LLP
Mr Lekan Awotedu, Cyber Risk Professional, Federal
Strategy & Risk with Deloitte LLP, Washington DC,
visited Singapore in January 2020. Mr Awotedu was
one of the trainers invited by the US Embassy in
Singapore for the YSEALI Programme in 2019, jointly
organised by the NYAA and the US Embassy.

NYAA hosted a lunch for Mr Awotedu, who was very
interested in assisting the NYAA in our Leadership
Development Programme.

Mr Peter Voser, Chairman, St. Gallen
Foundation, Switzerland
On 28 February 2020, Mr James Soh, Ms Aileen Yap
from the NYAA Council and Mr Alexander Melcher,
Adviser to the St. Gallen Foundation, met Mr Peter
Voser, Chairman of the St. Gallen Foundation at PSA
to discuss the St. Gallen Symposium in May 2020.

Mr Voser is also the Chairman of Port of Singapore
Authority International and Board Member of
Temasek Holdings. Mr Peter Voser, Chairman, St. Gallen Foundation, Switzerland,
Mr Alexander Melcher, Adviser to the St. Gallen Foundation and
Mr James Soh, Executive Director and Ms Aileen Yap, Deputy
ExecutiveDirector, NYAA Council.
