COMMITTED TO EXCELLENCE
The NYAA Programme enables the successful enhancement of the potential of young people by providing them
with a platform to develop and excel. As such, youth in the NYAA family maintain a commitment to excellence.
They generally aim high in their profession, and they strive to be better individuals in the community and
Singapore. The NYAA Council is very proud that many of our young leaders excelled despite the COVID-19
pandemic in 2020.
Major Lim En, NYAA Gold Award holder, was
appointed Commanding Officer, 24th Battalion,
Singapore Artillery (24SA) on 3 March 2020.
Mr Zed Teo, Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Police
and NYAA Gold Award holder, was highlighted in the
Straits Times Scholars’ Choice.
Ms Cheryl Lee, NYAA Gold Award holder, was
