Mr Edward Chia, NYAA Gold Award holder, Member
of the NYAA Council and a PAP candidate, was
elected a Member of Parliament at the 2020 General
Election. He served as a Member of Parliament for
Holland-Bukit Timah GRC for the Zhenghua Division.
Mr Chia is also the Vice-Chairman of the Holland-
Bukit Panjang Town Council.

Mr Darren Soh, NYAA Gold Award holder and
a professional Architectural Photographer, was
featured in the NUS Alumnus Magazine for his works
and contributions to society. Darren is also a founding
member of the NYAA Young Photographers’ Network
and has mentored hundreds of young photographers
under the NYAA YPN.

Mr Sear Hock Rong is an NYAA Gold Award holder
Ms Yang Xilei, NYAA Silver Award holder and and Vice Chairman of Ping Yi Secondary School
Gold Award participant, topped the GCE A-Level Advisory Board and an active grassroots leader with
Examination 2019 in Raffles Institution. Eunos and former Chairman of Eunos Community
Club Youth Executive Committee and Secretary of
Eunos Zone. He is a dynamic youth leader with NYAA.
He was the co-owner of a coffee shop-cum-food
centre at MacPherson SMC and had contributed to
the community. Member of Parliament Ms Tin Pei
Ling, a Member of the NYAA Advisory Board, visited
Mr Sear at his coffee shop on 11 August 2020. Ms Tin
said that Hock Rong is a good person and has a strong
sense of justice with a good heart. He dares to speak
up for those who need help in the community.

Mr Ngan Ka Fye and Ms Chen Gege, NYAA Silver
Award holders, topped the GCE O Level Examination
2019 at Ping Yi Secondary School.
