EDGE 35 Under 35
EDGE 35 Under 35 seeks to recognise the achievements
of 35 inspiring young founders below the age of 35 in
Singapore. It aims to celebrate youth who have made
significant contributions to the startup ecosystem in
Singapore over the past year to inspire Singaporean
youths to pursue entrepreneurship and adopt an
entrepreneurial mindset.

Singapore top 35 inspiring entrepreneurs below the Dr Marina Chow, Senior Scientist, DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences.

Many NYAA Gold Award holders are very successful
in their career both in Singapore and overseas. For
example, Dr Marina Chow, an NYAA Gold Award
holder (2004 Cohort), is a Senior Scientist at DuPont
Nutrition & Biosciences in Palo Alto, California,
USA. She is an expert in renewable biofuels and an
inspiration to women and students worldwide. She
is very much connected with Singapore and visited
Singapore yearly to see her parents.

Dr Chow credits the NYAA for broadening her horizons
as a youth and provided her many opportunities
to represent Singapore and NYAA at conferences
in Singapore and overseas. Drawing from her
experiences with the NYAA, Marina continues to
participate in community service and STEM research
and outreach.

Innovation Award for RICS Awards 2020
Southeast Asia
Under the leadership of Mr Eugene Seah, Managing
Director, Surbana Technologies Pte Ltd, Surbana
Jurong won the RICS Award 2020 Southeast Asia. The
Award showcases the most inspirational initiative and
developments in the built environment. The Award
recognises outstanding achievement, teamwork, and
local communities’ impact. Mr Seah received the
Award on behalf of Surbana Jurong. In addition, one
of Eugene’s team members, Mr Zac Lee Zongren, is an
NYAA Silver Award holder.

The winning team from Surbana Jurong led by Mr Eugene Seah,
