For breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you can eat all three
meals at the hawker centres in Singapore! I am going to
share with you one of my experiences eating at a hawker
            centre.

Last week, I went to Kovan Food Centre to try Tong
Fong Fatt Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice, which my
neighbours recommended. I am not someone who visits
hawker centres often, but ever since I discovered the
vast array of dishes available, I have started patronising
them at least once a week.

I tried the Tong Fong Fatt Hainanese Boneless Chicken
Rice. After much consideration, I bought their signature
roasted chicken rice. While they were preparing the dish,
I heard the sizzling of oil and the rhythmic chopping of There was a time when I went to a hawker centre alone

I took a bite, and when it reached my mouth, the food that I could use a packet of tissue paper to reserve the

before the uncle could even prepare another bowl! The All in all, I think that hawker centres are great places to

After a few hours, the hawker uncle sold all the chicken
and closed his shop, so I seized the opportunity to “One taste of roasted chicken rice changed

it was a tradition passed down to him, and he comes everything — now I know hawker centres are
to the hawker centre every day at 4 am to prepare the where traditions live and neighbours become

Nearby, I saw a vacant table with a packet of tissue paper Ong Chen Ying
