Virtual United Nations Environment Southeast Asia Youth Environmental
Network (SEAYEN) Innovation Breakthrough Workshop 2020
During the COVID-19 pandemic, NYAA Gold Award
holders continue their effort to raise awareness of
the importance of environmental sustainability in the
South East Asian region. With youth comprising a large
chunk of the global population, it becomes a reality
that the world’s future rests on the young people
of today. Empowering young people to be more
innovative can lead to creative ideas that answer the
issues that the world faces today. The time for youth
to step forward to innovate is now.
