Project sUPer Days Campaign 2020

Mr Tommy Koh Kit Shaun, An Assistant Director,
ASEAN Division, Ministry of Trade and Industry and an
NYAA Gold Awardee, served actively through the Ulu
Pandan Community Club Youth Network. During the
COVID-19 pandemic, Mr Koh initiated a community
project in partnership with food stallholders to share
positive messages to uplift residents and patrons
of the food centre. They reimagined community
engagement and provided spontaneous interactions
between hawkers and patrons with courtesy and
kind words of encouragement to take care and stay
safe.

The volunteers also wrote positive messages on post-
its and pasted them on drink and food containers.
The patrons’ response was very encouraging as Mr Tommy Koh, NYAA Gold Awardee with
many showed their appreciation for the kind Mr Christopher de Souza, MP for Holland-

Vital Leadership During The COVID-19 Pandemic

Dr Ken Ong, Managing Director, Chuanfa Motor and an
NYAA Gold Award holder (1995 Cohort), led a group
of volunteers to distribute BYOBclean hand sanitisers
to residents at the Tampines East Community Club.
In a crisis like the COVID-19 pandemic, every little
help to keep our population safe is the top priority.
Therefore, every able citizen should come forward to
lend a helping hand. That is the ethos of the NYAA
value.
