NYAA DNA To Add Value To Our Partners And Stakeholders

            The NYAA introduced Mr Eugene Seah, Managing
            Director, Surbana Technologies of Jurong Surbana
            Group  and  an  NYAA  Gold  Award  holder  (1995
            Cohort)  to  ITE.  We  want  him  to  help  develop  a
            Continuing  Education  &  Training  Programme  for
            students  and  adult  learners  in  Built  Environment
            and  Facility  Management  Technology  and  CET  in
            Digitalisation.  Mr  Seah  conducted  a  presentation
            for the senior management of ITE in October 2020

            ITE  senior  management  was  impressed  with  Mr
            Seah’s  presentation  and  will  study  how  to  work
            with Surbana Jurong to create a built-management
            programme  for  students  and  adult  learners.  Mr
            Seah visited the three ITE Colleges and developed an
            integrated system connecting the various schools in
            preparation to develop students for the Singapore
            Smart Nation initiative through a partnership and
            collaboration between ITE and Surbana Jurong.

                                 The World Press Clubs Alliance For Climate 2020

            On  23  October  2020,  the  World  Press  Clubs
            Alliance for Climate held a conference in Brussels,
            Belgium, involving 120 press clubs worldwide and
            23,000 journalists in 24 Time Zones. In addition, a
            documentary highlighting Singapore Climate Actions
            and  Innovations  was  shown  at  the  conference.
            The  documentary  featured  an  interview  with  Mr
            Zakir Hussain, Editor of The Straits Times and Vice-
            President of the Singapore Press Club. In addition,
            Dr  Angela  Lee,  NYAA  Gold  Award  holder  (2002
            cohort) and an environmental champion, spoke on
            how NYAA helped raise awareness, mitigate climate
            change  and  promote  ecological  Sustainability
            among the youth population in Singapore despite
