Mr Nigel Teo Wei Yoong, Founder of GoodHood.
SG and an NYAA Gold Award holder (1998 Cohort),
was one of the speakers at the Product Spotlight,
Singapore Tech Forum in November 2020.

Goodhood.SG app, which enables neighbours to
share items and services either by selling them or
donating them. Mr Teo was very encouraged that
about 90 per cent of the posts on the app were
from people offering help to those in need rather
than selling things. NYAA is very encouraged that Mr Nigel Teo

difference in society.

Political Analyst

Dr Mustafa Izzuddin, a Senior International
Affairs Analyst at Solaris Strategies Singapore
and a concurrent Senior Lecturer at the National
University of Singapore and an NYAA Gold Award
holder (2002 Cohort), is a sought after analyst on
political issues in Singapore and the Southeast
Asian region.

After the Singapore General Election 2020,
ChannelNews Asia invited Dr Mustafa to share his
views on the election results. Dr Mustafa presented
a fair opinion on the elements that may have Dr Mustafa Izzuddin

Singapore & Switzerland Relations

The NYAA Singapore and Switzerland have enjoyed a
warm relationship since 1993. Over the years, NYAA
Singapore and Switzerland jointly organised more
than forty youth leadership exchange programmes.
NYAA has also played a crucial role in the annual
St. Gallen Symposium for more than 20 years and
has facilitated eight Singapore Cabinet Ministers to
address the St. Gallen Symposium.

In 2017, NYAA established a relationship with
the Swiss International Talent Forum and
sent outstanding young Singaporeans to the
programme. In 2020, the Swiss honoured the
Singapore-Switzerland close relations by projecting
the Singapore flag onto the Matterhorn “With Love
from Switzerland” to uplift the spirit during the Singapore’s flag projected on the Matterhorn in
COVID-19 pandemic. Switzerland.
