JOHN F. PENNEY P.E, CBCP, CEM, EBCP
John is a project manager and consultant specializing in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection
and Commissioning. He entered the field of engineering in 1980 after graduating from
Vermont Technical College. In 1983 John began a private practice and has continued to
grow and expand with practical experience in all areas of HVAC, plumbing and fire
protection engineering, design and commissioning. In 1987 he expanded his busy
schedule to include program advisor and instructor teaching HVAC Design, Plumbing
Design and Project Management for the HVAC Certificate Program offered by the
Vermont Center for Business and Industry in cooperation with Vermont Technical College
and Vermont Interactive Television. In 1994 John was a part time adjunct instructor at
Vermont Technical College where he developed the curriculum and taught HVAC and
Plumbing Design. John currently remains in private practice providing consulting
engineering and commissioning services to Owners, Architects, Engineers and Contractors
throughout New England. He is a Certified Building Commissioning Professional, Certified
Vermont Energy Analyst and Certified Energy Manager
