Erin has a passion for excellence.
A hospitality professional with over 20 years
experience. Erin is a graduate of the Tourism &
Travel Management program with the ATHI and is
a graduate of Venue Management School with the
International Association of Venue Managers.
Erin has been an integral member of the leadership
team at the Fredericton Convention Centre since
2010, prior to it’s opening in 2011. In her current
role as the Director of Sales she is highly
accountable to both the FCC and her community
with a clear mandate to be one of Fredericton’s
Erin Blanchard economic engines.
2iC7 She leads by example, acts with integrity and places
Director of Sales high demands on herself. Erin considers herself a
Fredericton Convention Centre, Inc. trailblazer and thrives on being challenged.

Founded in 1977 and currently employing 40
New-Brunswickers, the Blanchard Group is
comprised of concrete plants, a bagging facility, a
pre-cast facility, a hardware store as well as multiple
construction aggregate quarries. It has participated
in major construction projects in the Chaleur area
and has worked with several international orgs.

René has been involved in the company, on a
continual basis, since the age of 14, having worked
in every department and unit. After completing his
post-secondary studies, René joined the Blanchard
Group full time as VP and President in late 2012.
