Josh is the co-owner of Global Pet Foods PEI and
Newfoundland locations, in one of the fastest
growing industries in Canada. As a pet lover, who is
passionate about personal health, he realized he
could make a difference by educating families about
proper nutrition for their pets and by bringing them
solution-based products. He oversees the daily
operations and marketing of their two
well-established stores in PEI and their newest
location in St. John's, Newfoundland. Josh is from
Halifax but now calls PEI home with his partner,
Krista and their dog, Tyra.

Richard Is the founder and President of Professional
Carriers Inc. and its associated companies. He has
worked in the transportation industry for 40 years,
since completing his Bachelor of Education at UNB.
After holding management and executive positions
in larger transportation organizations, in 2004
Richard had the opportunity to start his own
company. Professional Carriers Inc. is a long-haul
refrigerated carrier, focused on the food and
beverage market. Moving to a “hands on”
entrepreneurial role in his own smaller company
became a “labor of love” for him, which continues
today. Richard has had to continually adapt his role,
as Professional Carriers has grown into a medium
sized carrier of 58 trucks. Today, Richard remains

ELP9 long term planning and vision, while his son,
CEO George, as General Manager, has taken on many of
Professional Carriers Inc. the details of the daily operation. Richard also
serves on the boards of the Atlantic Provinces
