Derek co-founded Encore Interactive in early 2007
with other senior members of the iMagicTV
technical team. Encore’s vision is to bring
next-generation television to telephone companies
worldwide – from right here in New Brunswick!
Derek’s entrepreneurial activities started early on in
his career after co-founding New Brunswick’s first
competitive Internet service provider Maritime
Internet Services in 1994, co-founding GEEKNET
in 1999 and Pulse Communications in 2006.

One of Derek’s strengths is his seemingly endless
fountain of passion and enthusiasm for the projects
he tackles.

Scott sees himself as a strive for improvement and
focused individual. His role at the Sunny Corner
Enterprises combines his experiences in
manufacturing and continuous improvement
management as his driving force to implement
change. Scott sees problems as opportunities for
improvement and does not believe in a philosophy
of “Just fixt it” but rather “Find out why” and
prevent if from reoccurring. His technical
background and willingness to learn has provided
him with many opportunities and challenges.
