Under MFTS the course changed and made use of the Juno
         HT1 Flying Training Device (FTD.  Student QHIs are now taught
         elements of the conversion and many of the dynamic interven-
         tion techniques in the state of the art FTD which allows them to
         use scenarios which could not be practised in the live helicop-
         ter.  It also means they can continue to train during a periods of

         inclement weather (an English summer!).
