SBA Delivery - COT, DTS etc

Through direct delivery and franchised trg
SBA also delivers wider instructor trg
through the DTTT(Fg), COT and DTS
courses. The DTTT(Fg) course is aimed
at Aircrew Instructors delivering one-to-one
training but do not require the full AIC. The COT is an annual
requirement for all instructors aimed at ensuring the welfare of
students is preserved. The DTS focusses on the development
and assessment of ground instructors.

SBA Delivery - FTMC

The FTMC provides trg in DSAT concepts to
all Aviation Trg Managers and course design-
ers as is mandated for all trg managers via
JSP 822. It results in the FTMC JPA compe-
tency, equal to the DSAT(M) compulsory
competency. Student ranks historically range
from Air Cdre to Sgt. Bespoke courses have
been delivered outside the normal programme on request to
aviation and non-aviation trg managers. Up to 60 FTMs are
trained per annum.
