1. Before starting the TC3-F400D, make sure to check the engine oil is at the suffice
level (fig 4-1), and ensure the throttle is switched to the “minimal” position (fig
4-9)
2. With assistance, set the concrete cutter on the ground.
3. Compress the compressor chamber (fig 4-2) then pull the recoil starter rope (fig 4-
3) to start the engine.
(Note: Crank the engine for a few time and ensure the recoil starter is set at the
right position to achieve the right tension to provide the right torque before a
pull back. After the pull back release the recoil rope gently back.)
4. Open the control valve (fig 4-4) to let the water flow to the cutter blade for wet
cutting.
5. Hand tighten the rear lever lock (fig 4-6) to prevent the elevating lever from
turning freely. However, do not tighten the rear lever too much so as to allow user
to turn the elevating lever..
6. Ensure all personnel are cleared from machine before pushing the throttle lever to
“Full” position (fig 4-7). At this moment the cutter will start spinning at
maximum speed. Take note: the r.p.m of the cutter is correlated to the extension
of the throttle lever position.
7. Set the depth of the cutting by turning the elevating lever (fig 4-8). Then, fully
lock the elevating lever by tightening the rear lever lock (fig 4-6) and grab firmly
to the handles of the machine to control the cutting process.
8. Once the job is done. Switch to “Off” position (fig 4-9) to stop the machine.
