3 Objectives
To specify to Group companies common approaches and criteria for the management of audit in
relation to vehicles and maintenance.
To mandate the minimum volume and frequency at which maintenance audits should be undertaken
To reduce the risk of unsafe practices and conditions through the regular management checks
To provide assurance that the arrangements for the safe maintenance of vehicles and maintenance
facilities are being delivered according to Group requirements and that the requirements themselves
are effective and appropriate.
To define a common approach for measurement and reporting of audit results and Group company
compliance.
To clarify people, responsibilities, training and competence in relation to maintenance audits.
