Only A Sinner Saved By Grace???

JUDGE RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT

Christians are supposed to “judge righteous

judgment” (John 7:24), which would include

looking for evidence of regeneration in the

lives of those who claim to be children of

God. Titus 1:16 speaks of those who “profess

that they know God; but in works they deny

him, being abominable, and disobedient, and

unto every good work reprobate,” so

Christians are not to take a person’s

profession of salvation in Christ at face value,

but we are to “try the spirits whether they

are of God.” First John 4:1 says:

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try

the spirits whether they are of God:

because many false prophets are gone

out into the world.”
