4.BEST PRACTICES
➢ Cite as many best practices as you can on Parameter C (Assessment of Academic
Performance)
These are evidenced by the output of the students in relation to those items previously
mentioned in Item No. 1.
o Examinations are patterned based on existing Tables of Specification (i.e. TOS) of the
program;
o The members of the faculty have training in the construction and utilization of
assessment materials and processes.
o Multiple intelligences are accounted for in the employment of assessment strategies;
o Students’ output (such as examinations, etc.) are returned to the students after they are
checked, recorded, and analyzed so as to give them a feedback mechanism;
o The system of student evaluation and grading is defined, understood, and disseminated
in relation to the students, faculty, university administrators, and parents/guardians;
o The students’ academic performances are given commendation and esteem when
merited; and
o Students’ retention rates lie on the average.
