CRITERIA/GUIDELINES FOR BEST FACULTY AWARD (2008)
This award shall be given to a regular faculty member of the university who has shown
outstanding performance in teaching and other instruction-related endeavors. It aims to;
1. Give recognition to ISU faculty member with outstanding teaching performance; and
2. Encourage each faculty member to perform his/her best service in instruction.
The following criteria shall be used:
1. Teaching Performance (60%)
Competence in teaching (student evaluation 15%, supervisor rating 10%, & peer
rating 5%) --- 30%

Instructional materials produced 20%
20=100% if instructional materials produced are in all the subjects being taught
15=if 75% of the subjects/course being taught
10=if 50% of –do-
