Talking to the fire officer, I explained that this was
Goliath's first serious fall where we could not cope, the
experience had give me serious food for thought
especially as we could not continue to call on the fire
service every time we had this problem.
We were sincerely thankful for their attendance over

THE GOLLY LIFTER
We had some really good friends in County Durham in
the North of England, Andy and his wife Michele had
been visitors originally while they were on holiday locally,
then Andy offered help with mechanical problems we
could not solve.
Andy had worked in the local coal mines but was now in
the engineering department of the huge Caterpillar
company where earthmoving machines were being
constructed.
We asked Andy to help with this urgent problem and on
the next free week end they both appeared.
