Often the first we would know was the earth tremble
when he fell over, but more and more it was one of our
terriers who became used to sensing the “happening”
and giving us a shout.
Fred actually appeared on Yorkshire Television as a
featured “personality” for developing this talent and
saving many minutes of unpleasant “grovelling about” on
the ground, for the old horse
