            8  Driving for FTL Ltd

            All drivers must abide by all Road Traffic legislation and obey all vehicle and road speed
            limitations and drive to the conditions that they are experiencing. Drivers are expected to
            show care and consideration to the public and other road users and abide by the Highway
            Code. All drivers must not,  by their actions, expose other employees, members of the
            public or customers to any danger.

            8.1  General LGV Driver Responsibilities

                     Only drive on company business once authorised to do so;

                     Ensure you have a current full driving licence at all times;

                     Act as an ambassador for FTL Ltd when driving;

                     Report any road traffic incident you are involved  in, irrespective of damage, to your
                     line Manager, or Company Director immediately;

                     Report relevant medical conditions to your Fleet Manager and the DVLA;

                     Do not drive if under the influence of alcohol or  drugs (including certain prescribed
                     medication);

                     Do  not  smoke  in  any  vehicle  being  used  for  company business,  including

                     electronic cigarettes;

                     Drive in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times;
                     Only  drive when necessary  and ensure the  journey is effectively planned  to

                     include rest breaks as appropriate;

                     Use all safety related equipment at all times (i.e. seatbelts, dash cams etc);
                     Do not use your mobile phone or handheld device without  an appropriate hands-free

                     kit or any hand-held electronic device including Sat Nav’s while driving. It is illegal to do

                     so; Please also refer to our In Cab Device Policy
                     Inspect your vehicle  at  first  use  and  to ensure  it is in a roadworthy  condition,

                     reporting any defects via R2C or verbally to the Fleet manager if safety critical;

                     Make sure all vehicles are correctly loaded;
                     Complete regular driving refresher training as required by the Company;

                     Co-operate with monitoring, reporting and investigation procedures; and

                     Report any damage or defect to your company  vehicle or commercial vehicle to
                     your line manager/fleet service provider.
