            8.3  Loading and Unloading

                •  During and on completion of loading, the driver shall

                    check goods are complete in quantity and in good

                    condition. Secure the load to ensure the goods do not
                    incur damage during transit. Please also see section

                    Load Safety & Security.

                •  If you are not sure or unhappy with the goods, for
                    example, Height of the pallets, packaging, unstable

                    goods – contact the office for advice.

                              Do not sign for goods or leave the premises if you are unsure.


                •  Once the customer’s goods are loaded and you leave the premises the goods in
                    transit become the driver’s responsibility.

                •  Vehicle must be sealed and the seal number noted on the paperwork/CMR/Delivery
                    note – All seals are now recorded as to where they have been allocated to – If you

                    need seals please come to operations office and one of the staff will issue you with
                    a pack of 50.

                •  On arrival at delivery point, check seals are intact.
