            8.4.5 Deception Theft

                                    THIEVES ARE CLEVER AND CONVINCING!

They may approach you with branded high viz jackets, clothing and clipboards etc looking
very professional and convince you they work for the delivery depot. They will ask you to
come to a different location or site as they are too busy and want to get you unloaded
            quickly.

No Bonded warehouses or other major delivery sites will EVER ask you to do this. As you
would expect this is particularly prominent in East London area including points like Tilbury
            / Barking / Hoddesdon / Belvedere

            GOLDEN RULE:

If anybody, anywhere asks you to go to a different location or delivery point, however close
            – ring the office or a mobile for advice.

Never ever go anywhere without approval to deliver in a different location!

            8.5 Immigration Control

At Freight Transport Ltd we take immigration control very seriously and we take all
measures possible to prevent the carriage of clandestine entrants. Our aim is to run an
effective system in order to reduce, and hopefully prevent entirely, incidents of clandestine
entrants. As with all effective systems, we ALL have our part to play and the
responsibilities of our drivers are of absolute importance. These measures are not optional
and failure to comply may lead to disciplinary action.

The fines are now extremely high so ensuring your vehicle is secure and all checks are
            recorded is very important.

Both you and Freight Transport could face a fine of up to £10,000 for
each clandestine entrant and even if no clandestine entrant is found you
may face a fine of up to £6,000 if your vehicle is not adequately secured
