                   Safe driving

            Drive  the  vehicle  in  a  safe,  lawful  and  efficient  manner  to  the  standard  required  by  the
            Department of Transport in all traffic and weather conditions, laden or un-laden.

            Ensure you have a comfortable seating position that allows you to access all controls and
            gives you all round vision.

                        If in doubt about anything then please ASK, we are here to help.

                   Carrying of passengers

            The carriage of un-authorised passengers or animals is strictly forbidden at all times
            without written director’s approval.

                   Driving licence

            Drivers of Company vehicles must hold a valid driving licence which must be produced to
            the Company on request. You will also be required to provide your agreement to allow a
            third party to monitor your licence, this is valid for a three-year period unless you leave
            employment at AMS Ltd when the monitoring will cease.  In the event of the employee’s
            driving licence being withdrawn for whatever reason you must notify your Transport Manager
            immediately and not drive any company vehicle as you will not be insured, and where the
            use of a vehicle is essential to the performance of the employee’s job, the Company reserves
            the right to terminate your employment.

              Any change to your license must be reported to the Transport Manager as soon as it occurs.

                   Customers
            You  must  be  aware  that  you  are  often  the  Company’s  regular  customer  contact.  It  is
            important therefore that your appearance  is always smart and tidy and you behave with
            courtesy  and  politeness  and  observe  and  adhere  to  the  customer’s  site  rules.  Serious
            breaches of your conduct may result in disciplinary action.

            What is a Customer?

            A customer is the most important person involved with our Company. They are not
            dependent upon us, however we ALL depend upon them for our living.

                            Please value them accordingly and ensure that at all times:-



                •  A quality, safe and courteous service is provided:
                •  We will deal with spillages and keep our customer’s storage facility clean and tidy in-
                    line with contractual requirements.
                •  Our operations are conducted to the highest professional standard. ALL personnel
                    will act in a responsible manner.
                •  You  respond  and  react  positively  to  every  customer’s  reasonable  needs  and
                    requirements.
