Conveyance and transfer notes (Paper based)
Driver’s delivery ticket books double-up as a delivery conveyance note and a waste transfer
note.
When completing these tickets for collection or delivery of recycled material, crushed
concrete or topsoil, please ensure that the tickets are filled in correctly, clearly stating the
customer’s name, address of place of loading, describe the material and where the material
is to be deposited.
Waste Classification Code
Some Typical Examples:- Inert excavated soil (Spoil) 17 05 04
Raw concrete 17 01 01
Demolition hardcore 17 01 02
Rough builders waste. 17 09 04
Industrial/Commercial Waste 20 03 01
Always use the Waste Classification Codes to describe the material you are carrying. If you
are unsure of which code should be used, contact the transport office for advice.
Always show the place of tipping or transfer point in the address box. This will be a landfill
site, transfer station, or the address of a site where you are delivering a product.
All tickets must be signed by the producer of the waste and for the delivery of material and
the customer keeps the pink copy with all remaining copies coming back to the office.
