Duty of Care – Waste Carriers License (Environmental Protection Act 1990)
As part of the Environmental Protection Act (1990), the Duty of Care imposes a chain
of responsibilities from the person producing the waste to the final disposal of the
waste. Drivers must ensure that the material collected matches the category indicated
on the Conveyance and Transfer Note.
Avon Material Supplies Limited are authorised as Registered Waste Carriers. The
Company’s waste carriers licence provides proof of our authority. The Company’s
registration number is also shown on the Conveyance and Transfer Note.
