            20.14 Safety in the Use and Handling of Mineral Oils and Grease


            HSE  Guidance  Note  GN/EH58  highlights  the  health  risks  from  exposure  to  mineral  oils  by  skin
            contact, inhalation of oil mist, ingestion or injection.

            Many oils and greases are classified as carcinogenic and reference should be made to the health
            and safety consultant if these are in use.

            20.15 Use of Products containing Isocyanates


            Work with substances containing isocyanates may present a potentially serious hazard to the health
            of those who may be exposed during the course of their work.
            Isocyanates are reactive chemical compounds used in the production of polyurethane materials.
            They are used in a wide range of applications, including surface coatings, adhesives, foams etc. The
            most important health effect is that of respiratory sensitisation which may result in asthma.
