Beef	and	Bean	Hash	(GF)

	

Ingredients	and	Prep:
1	tablespoon	of	basil.
1	tablespoons	of	oil.
1	tablespoon	of	oregano.
1	cup	of	tomato	soup.
2	cups	of	corn.
3	1/2	cups	spicy	cooked	pinto	beans	OR	kidney	beans.
1	chopped	onion.
1	clove	of	minced	garlic.
2	bay	leaves.
1	pound	of	lean	ground	beef.
Salt	and	pepper.
	

	

Cooking	Directions:
Pour	the	oil	into	a	large	pan.
Heat	over	medium-high	setting.
Sauté	the	beef	with	onion	and	garlic.	Cook	until	the	meat	is	browned.
Drain	way	the	fat.
Combine	the	beef	with	corn	and	beans	in	a	large	pan.
Bring	the	meat,	beans	and	corn	to	a	boil.
Cover	the	pan	and	place	it	over	low	heat	to	simmer	for	10	minutes.

This	dish	goes	well	with	a	side	of	corn	bread	or	rice.
For	a	bit	more	flavor,	consider	adding	a	taco	seasoning	or	chili	powder.
For	the	oil,	opt	for	cold-pressed	sunflower	oil	or	coconut	oil.
In	place	of	tomato	soup,	you	may	opt	to	use	tomato	passata	or	tomato
paste.
