Cheesy Bacon Patties (GF)
Ingredients and Prep:
1/2 tablespoon of ground black pepper.
1/2 tablespoon of salt.
1 tablespoon of onion powder.
1 cup of shredded cheddar.
4 cups of cooled mashed potatoes.
2 eggs.
3 slices of bacon.
Cooking Directions:
Cook the bacon in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat for
approximately 10 minutes. Flip occasionally for even crisping. The bacon
must be browned and crunchy.
Place the bacon slices on a plate to cool. Leave the bacon fat in the
skillet.
Combine the eggs, onion powder, pepper, salt, cheddar and mashed
potatoes in a mixing bowl.
Crumble the bacon and add it to the mix.
Create approximately 6 to 8 patties.
Heat the bacon drippings over medium heat for a minute or two.
Fry the patties in the skillet for approximately 8 minutes. Flip once.
Serving Instructions, Tips & Variations: The patties should be crisp on
the exterior.
