Bacon	Garlic	Pasta

	

Ingredients	and	Prep:
2	tablespoons	of	grated	Parmesan	cheese.
8	tablespoons	of	olive	oil.
1	chopped	onion.
1	pound	of	bacon.
1	pound	of	corkscrew	pasta.
5	cloves	of	garlic.
Fresh	oregano.
	

	

Cooking	Directions:
Minced	or	finely	chop	the	garlic.
Cook	the	bacon	until	it's	browned	and	crispy;	drain	away	the	drippings.
Crumble	the	cooled	bacon.
Cook	the	pasta	and	drain	away	the	water.
Sauté	the	garlic	in	olive	oil	for	1	to	2	minutes.
Mix	the	garlic,	oregano	and	bacon	with	the	pasta.
Sprinkle	the	grated	Parmesan	over	the	top	and	serve.
	
	
Serving	Instructions,	Tips	&	Variations:	If	desired,	sauté	chopped
mushrooms.	The	mushrooms	can	also	be	cooked	with	the	bacon.
Make	this	recipe	gluten-free	by	using	a	gluten-free	pasta	variety.
For	extra	flavor,	add	onion	to	the	pan	while	cooking	the	bacon.
Serve	with	dish	with	a	side	salad	of	tomatoes	and	Romaine	lettuce.
If	desired,	add	more	olive	oil	to	make	the	dish	a	bit	more	moist.
