2. BORING PLANT/ DRILLING RIG

1. Boring Plant/ Drilling Rig

• The drilling rig shall be of the hydraulic

feed type capable of applying a working
hydraulic thrust of the order of 10.0kN to

30kN and boring/ drilling to the maximum
depth as specified in the scope of work or a

depth of 60m from existing ground.

• The plant shall be suitable for advancing
the borehole, sampling, in-situ testing and
rock drilling in accordance with the

relevant specification.

• The weight of the drilling rig shall be
compatible with the maximum hydraulic

thrust without movement of the rig.
