Installation

Pump / Air Panel Assembly
1) Pump/air panel assembly operates most effectively when positioned above chemical holding tank.
Place assembly 24” (61 cm) above top of tank. Level unit and mount to the wall using the same
method used to mount the tank and frame assembly (fasteners not supplied by Belanger, Inc.).
Note: If adequate space not available, the unit can be mounted off to the side or below the tank.
If this is the case, it must be mounted no more than 5’ away.

Final Set Up
1) Run customer supplied 1/2” polyflow line from the pump outlet labeled “MATERIAL OUT” to the
tunnel. Secure into 1/2” plastic fitting on the passenger side treadle assembly.
2) Run customer supplied 3/8” polyflow line to the 3/8” fitting on the air regulator. Make sure pressure
gauge reads zero. If not, turn regulator knob counter clockwise.
3) Remove long suction hose from side fitting of Hydrominder. Select orifice size according to the
desired mixture ratio from the provided orifices. A chart is provided in the Hydrominder section of
this manual to assist in your selection. Screw selected orifice into threaded hole and replace hose.
Note: Hydrominder™ orifices are designed for a chemical with the same viscosity of water. If
the chemical being used is considerably thicker, you may want to increase the orifice size
from that being suggested.
4) Run suction hose to bottom of chemical drum.
5) The pump is supplied with 6’ of suction hose with a stainless steel foot valve and strainer in one
end. Measure correct distance from pump to bottom of mixture tank. Remove hose from the pump.
Cut hose to size and replace.
