CHEMICAL TIRE APPLICATOR™
WHEEL BRITE APPLICATOR™
Operation
1) Before turning on main water supply, turn off water inlet valve on Hydrominder.
2) Make sure all of the main water and air supplies are on, and the lab cock valve on bottom of tank
is closed.
3) Make sure Hydrominder float is in the tank and clear of any hoses. Adjust chain so that bottom of
float is about 2” off bottom of tank.
4) Open up Hydrominder inlet valve and observe chemical being sucked through tube. If chemical is
not evident, make sure hose is in chemical drum.
5) Observe mixture filling into tank. Watch until Hydrominder float valve turns off. At this time, the
mixture level should be at least 2/3 full. This will ensure an adequate amount of fluid is always in
the tank.
6) Excess chain can be snipped off to prevent any additional interference.
7) Install split cover onto tank. Make sure chain is through small hose and clear of interference.
8) Turn air regulator knob clockwise until gauge pressure reads between 60 and 65 PSI.
CAUTION
ONLY DO NOT EXCEED 80 PSI (5.5 BAR). This will cause damage to the pump.
9) Observe fluid spraying from nozzle by tripping lever arm at passenger side treadle with foot (Stand
clear of spray). The spray pattern should be continuous and cone shaped at both passenger side
and driver side nozzles. If not, refer to Maintenance and Trouble Shooting Sections. Try this
several times to be sure air is purged from all lines.
CAUTION
Supplied air pressure gauge displays PSI only.
