Personal hygiene and grooming is of prime importance at all times. Male staff at all time must have a clean haircut and
shave. Female staff must have a neat and tidy hairstyle. All staff must trim their nails, use deodorants and change socks
daily. Staff must wash their hands after visiting ladies or gents.
Facial jewelry, such as eyebrow rings, nose rings, lip rings, and tongue studs, is not professionally appropriate and must
not be worn during school hours.
Multiple ear piercings (more than one ring in each ear) are not professionally appropriate and must not be worn during
school hours.
PERFORMANCE
A very high standard of commitment, dedication and performance is expected from all members of staff for a
smooth and successful running of the school.
OUTLINED CODE OF CONDUCT
• All employees of Springsville International School are expected to be loyal and dedicated to duty and carry out all
instructions to the best of their ability.
• Teachers are not allowed to answer calls during school hours. Any teacher who answers calls during these hours will
pay a fine of N1,000.
• No staff is allowed to smoke, drink or in be the state of hangover during school hours. Offenders will be summarily
dismissed;
• No teacher is allowed to receive visitors before 2: 00pm and visitors are only entertained at the reception office.
• Teachers must take permission and sign the movement register before going out of the school.
