Composite maps and blending modes in 3ds Max 2009 work similar to layers in Photoshop. n

Figure 17.29 shows three different uses for the Composite map. The left image combines a Checker map
with a Gradient map. The last two images combine a Swirl map with Checker and Cellular maps.
