EASTERN REGION RECOMMENDATIONS
E. R. Recommendation #1
To plan, organize, and host a one day Regional Conference in conjunction with the
implementation of the 2021 Conclave date and location. Piloting such a structure at
this time will help make informed decisions on moving forward for the implementation
of future Regional Conferences in Conclave years.
Rationale:
Hosting the Regional Conference one day before the conclace would:
• Chapters will only have to bear the expense once (for registration, lodging,
and transportation) for delegates to attend and participate at both the regional conference and
conclave simultaneously.

• Registering for Conclave would include registration for the Regional Conference and sorors’
attendance and participation would provide credit for each separately thereby, satisfying the
requirements to run for local, regional and national offices.

• Conclave would not be extended beyond Thursday.

• Regional Conferences would continue, with no change in structure in
non-conclave years.
