Within the last few years, various Chapters have contributed to the request of the previous Regional
History Committee Chair to submit their individual Chapter history.

Some of the Chapters have contributed pictures and documented conversations from individual
Chapter Founders and our illustrious Founders of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc.

Recommendation:

Moving forward the History Chair will make arrangements to meet with and document historical
recollections from Soror Mildred English and Soror Carolyn Pickney. This arrangement will allow
the Committee to document memories and gather more information in order to compile a digital
scrapbook in order to have an electronic archive that all Regions will have access to on a regular
basis. Other Chapters within the Regions will be able to gather information and contribute to the
historical documents moving forward for this and future generations of the National Sorority of Phi
Delta Kappa, Inc.
