Regional Recommendation - # 2
E. R. Recommendation #2
It is recommended that the Manual of Policies and Procedures (MPP) be made
available in digital form. The document should be available to all financial sorors.
This document should also be accepted during credential verification. The National
office could charge a nominal fee for access to the digital document. The digital copy
would not replace the printed version, but should be considered an alternative.
Rationale:
• To meet demands of 21st Century education.
• Providing digital copies that are accessed through the online sorors only page allows
financial sorors access to the Manual of Policies and Procedures (MPP), verification of
membership status (active, financial, etc.) and can therefore be verified through any electronic
digital device.
• When presenting this information during credentials, sorors would be able to pull the MPP
directly from the website, either on their digital device or through a stationary laptop used to
sign in sorors, thus saves sorors from having to pay for transporting the book.
• Reduces costs of production and distribution when edits need to be made.
